6:27 a.m. — A caller from Shaw Drive reported that there was a tree across the roadway. DPW was notified.
10:47 a.m. — A resident of Parkland Drive came to the station to report identity theft.
12:12 p.m. — An Oxbow Road resident came to the station to speak to an officer about a stolen wallet. The item was later found.
Tuesday, Sept. 9
7:55 a.m. — A caller from Dean Road stated that someone at the end of the road was dumping trash.
1:32 p.m. — Weston police notified Wayland Public Safety of a possible water main break from a Wayland residence at the town line. The water was found to be from a pool being emptied.
3:51 p.m. — A walk-in reported that a trash can was in the roadway near the transfer station. The can was moved to the side of the road, and Mass Highway was notified.
4:15 p.m. — A two-car traffic accident near the post office in Cochituate was reported by a 911 call. There were no injuries.
Wednesday, Sept. 10
3:56 p.m. — A caller from Claypit Hill Road near Concord Road reported part of a tree blocking a portion of the roadway. Because wires were involved, Eversource was notified. The tree was removed to the side of the road and DPW was notified.
Thursday, Sept. 11
12:57 P.M. — A caller from Green Way reported a low-hanging wire. Verizon was notified.
4:28 p.m. — Police assisted with a disabled motor vehicle on Concord Road near Wayland Center.
6:15 p.m. — A resident of Boston Post Road entered the station to ask an officer to help her with a tenant eviction. The party was advised.
10:35 p.m. — A resident of Alta Oxbow (492 Boston Post Road) called to report being locked out of her apartment by the management. The party was advised.
Friday, Sept. 12
3:55 p.m. — A caller from Bright Horizons (321 Commonwealth Road) reported a sick or injured raccoon. An officer located the animal to the woods. The animal was later euthanized and the property manager was notified.
Saturday, Sept. 13
11:08 a.m. — A caller from Wayland Middle School stated that an hour earlier, someone had hit his car and left a note.
4:21 p.m. — A resident of Farmcrest Lane walked in to speak with an officer about transactions on her bank account that she did not authorize.
5:26 p.m. — A caller from Plain Road reported that a tree came down on his vehicle; no injuries were reported.
Sunday, Sept. 14
8:48 p.m. — A resident of Old Connecticut Path called for help with bats in the house.
Monday, Sept. 15
12:21 p.m. — Police investigated a report of a misused gift card at CVS (150 Main St.).
1:38 p.m. — A caller from Andrew Avenue reported a slight odor of gas in the upper-floor hallway. It was found that a stove had been left on.
4:41 p.m. — Natick Stop & Shop reported that the wallet of a Wayland resident had been found.
Tuesday, Sept. 16
6:27 p.m. — In response to a 911 call about a car being driven erratically on Commonwealth Road, police stopped the vehicle. They arrested Wanner Ramirez Gudiel, 29, of Marlborough, Mass., for OUI, possession of an open container of alcohol, and marked lane violation. The car was towed.
6:39 p.m. — A resident of Simpson Road came to the public safety building to report harassment.
Wednesday, Sept. 17
1:15 a.m. — A caller from Old Connecticut Path reported being disturbed by a septic truck pumping in the neighborhood so late at night. The truck operator was spoken to.
11:48 a.m. — A two-car accident at Starbucks (44 Main St.) was reported.
4:30 p.m. — An accident involving two motor vehicles occurred at Sunrise Assisted Living (285 Commonwealth Road).
Thursday, Sept. 18
4:27 p.m. — A caller from the parking lot at 317 Boston Post Road reported that youths were setting off bottle rockets in the area. The responding officer located the youths, who were setting off snappers. They were advised and left the area.
Friday, Sept. 19
11:38 a.m. — Tufts Medical contacted public safety to report that a Wayland resident had placed numerous phone calls to them and requested that an officer advise her to stop calling. An officer advised the resident, who did not acknowledge.
4:07 p.m. — Police assisted with a disabled motor vehicle at Sandy Burr Country Club (103 Cochituate Road). The vehicle was moved to the parking lot awaiting AAA.
9:16 p.m. — Police observed a motorcycle on Rice Road failing to stop. Weston, Natick and Wellesley police were notified, and Wellesley police detained the operator. Arrested was Mounthy Dethsy Vongxay, 35, of Bedford, Mass., charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, number plate violation, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and receiving stolen property.
