Robert V. Baker of Natick, formerly of Springfield and Cochituate, passed away peacefully but somewhat reluctantly, on Friday, October 17, 2025. He was a beloved elementary school teacher in Springfield, following a long career of dedicating his life to his students. He was the loving husband of the late Gail (Borges) Baker, who died in 2014. Devoted father of David Baker and his wife, Julie of Natick and Shannon Tuller and her husband, Roger of Stillwater, Okla. He cherished his darling granddaughters, Eloise and Amelia. Memorial Visitations wered held Tuesday, Oct. 21, 4 to 7 p.m, at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road. Wayland. A Celebration of Life was Wednesday, Oct. 22, 1 p.m, at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215 or www.giving.childrenshospital.org
