Firefighter/Paramedic Ryan Murphy, one of Wayland’s first responders, recently completed training in the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Career Recruit Program. The 10-week program teaches students the basic skills of a firefighter. Graduates must demonstrate proficiency in line safety, search and rescue, ladder operations and more.


Gleb Vlasov, a member of the class of 2026 majoring in computer science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, was a member of a student team that recently completed a professional-level research-driven project titled “Pedestrian Experience and Street Purpose in Venice.”


Grace Cappellucci is among the University of Rhode Island’s newest alumni. She received a bachelor of arts in elementary education.
