Submit Photo

Please submit only high-resolution photos. If the photo has traveled by phone or text, make sure the sender specifies “highest attachment size.” If the file on your computer is smaller than 2MB in size, please send the original larger version. Low-resolution photos will look blurred or “pixelated” in print.

Please use this file-naming format: YYYY-MM-DD_EventName_PhotographerName.jpg

Upload photos using this form: in the description box please include:

  • When and where the photo was taken
  • Who took the photo
  • Left-to-right names and titles of identifiable people in the photo if there are six or fewer people shown.

Requirements:

  • High-resolution only (prefer ≥ 2MB file size). If sent by phone/text, choose “Largest/Original size.”
  • Filename format: YYYY-MM-DD_EventName_PhotographerName.jpg

Minors: We do not publish photos of children under18 without parent/guardian permission, or a school release on file. Verbal consent is acceptable if the parent/guardian agrees to online and/or print publication (please confirm first).

Photos must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday for the next biweekly print edition.
